Zonealarm How do i allow programs using zonealarm it says check the program contro l where do i find tht im using free version zonealarm.
Chosen Answer:
If you have Zone Alarm running and you try accessing the internet with a program, or the program tries to access the internet automatically — a pop up window should prompt you if whether you want this program accessing the internet
You can say yes or no, and theres even this little box to check that will apply your choosen answer automatically everytime the program wants access to the internet.
Now should you accidentally click no, and put that program on your blocked list, then follow below to unblock, and allow the program to do so.
Open Zone Alarm
On left side in brown shaded area, click PROGRAM CONTROL
Programs list pops up with 2 columns of ? X or a green check
X = blocked from internet
? = Ask permission each time program wants to access internet
Green check = program has permission to access any time it needs to
Find the program you are trying to allow acces to (or prevent access to), and choose which program you want
Go over to the column an right click how you want Zone Alarm to respond when program tries to access internet.
